I am researching the Philip Kline family. I believe his wife is Catherine (Forney?) and his first child is,Alfred,J. Kline listed as born in Hamburg, 1839, on his death record. In 1850 census Philip Kline and family are living in Philadelphia. However, when Alfred J. Kline enlisted in the Civil War, January, 1864, he is enlisted at Brandy Station but lists his residence as Berks County. In 1860 census, Alfred is living in Philadelphia as well as 1870, etc. I am trying to find out more about the family of Philip Kline who is living in Windsor, Berks Co. in 1840 census. He lists a male under 5, a male 20-30, and a female 15-20. This agrees with the birth years I have for Philip, his wife Catherine and Alfred. Also listed above Philip is a Sarah Kline and I am wondering if they could be related. Also, in checking 1840 census records other Klines living in Windsor are David, George, John, Samiel (sp), Solomon. Could they all be related? Anyone related to these Klines?
