Thank you, Roxie, for the information. I am inclined to go with the Benjamin b. 1791 but I don't know who his parents are and I still have to prove he is the father our Philip b. 1816. I did find online from the Trinity UCC Cemetery, Rehrersburg Cemetery PABerks online records, a Benjamin Kline b. 5/14/1814, but in no way can be the father of Philip b. 1816. There In the Old Cemetery Altalaha,Rehrerburg there is Philip Kline b. 1763 who I believe is the father of Benjamin b. 1816. But I am not sure of all of this as I am just getting started on this research. Can anyone tell me what cemetery would one be buried in if they were living in Hamburg or Windsor Twp., Berks County. I did check St. John's Lutheran in Hamburg online records. Thank you. Elaine Sharp Sacramento CA
I decided to go over my notes and found this that Diane sent to me from Smoke Church Records, part 1 of 'Collected Church Records of Berks Co', Rice and Dellock, pub 1/1995 and wonder if anyone can expand on the information. This is most likely where the July 14, 1816, information for the Philip KLINE I am researching came from. Philip KLEIN, s/o Benjamin KLEIN and Sarah, born 7/14/1816, bp 7/26/1816 spons: Philip KLEIN and wf Elisabeth, grandparents. Another researcher lists Philip's parents as Benjamin Kline and Sara Batz. Grandparents are probably the Philip Kline and Elisabeth (Adams) Kline both buried at Old Cemetery Altalaha, Tulphocken Twp. Berks Co. Is there any way to get a copy of these records from St. Paul's Smoke Union Church, Tulpehocken Twp. Berks Co., PA? Thank you. Elaine Sharp Sacramento CA
