I have seen birthdate of 'abt 1733' given for her, with death date May 1789. Elisabeth LeVAN is reported to have married Philip RIESER, b. 13 Sep 1723 Switzerland, d. Jun 1789 Bern Twp, Berks Co. And her sister Anna Barbara m. Jacob RIESER of Maxatawny Twp, d. Cumru Twp, Berks as his second wife after 1st wife Maria LeVAN (dau. of Abraham & wife Caharine WEIMER) died (per Berks Co Orphan's Court, Vol. iii, p. 64, on 16 Feb 1784). Note that Maria's sister Elisabeth LeVAN b. 20 Jun 1725 also married a RIESER, Johanne, the brother of Philip. Will of RIESER, ELIZABETH, Reading.May 1, 1789 - June 2, 1789. To Philip James FESIG the schoolmaster £25. To the Reformed Congregation of Reading £100. To Conrad FESIG bed, etc. To George ALTHOUS of Bern all remainder of estate.Exr: George ALTHOUS. Wits: Peater FEATHER and John SPYKER. [from will abstracts by Martin & Smith). Philip Jacob/James FOSIG or FESIG (also Foesig) is the one to whom in 1789, Philip REESER's wife Elisabeth (dau of Daniel LEVAN) left the sum of £25 --a good chunk of cash at the time, provided the £25 was paid out in good currency. She left to Conrad FESIG (her niece Catharine's husband?) a bed and other goods. Elisabeth dau. of Daniel LeVAN reportedly had a sister Anna Elisabetha b. 1736 who m. Andrew FRIEDLI, who was named in his father in law Daniel LeVan's will 1776 as her husband and in his mother in law Susanna Siegfried LeVan's will 1778 as married to her stepdaughter Anna Elisabeth.
