Kline born Oct. 1886 in New Jersey, but living in Reading, Berks County, PA in 1900. [Reading, Berks Co., PA Census 1900 Roll 1378 p. 7B ED 55]. The parents in the household were Geroge H. and Susan A. Kline. There were siblings: Nathan, Hattie, Stella and George H. Jr. Hattie and Mary A. were the only two children born in New Jersey, the rest were born in PA. A Mary A. Jesberg was buried at Charles Evans Cemetery on January 14, 1977. J. Edward Jesberg was also buried at Charles Evans Cemetery on Aug. 19, 1947. According to the Berks County marriage license applications J. Edward Jesberg and Mary Alice Kline applied for a marriage license on Aug. 7, 1916 [Vol. 45 p. 44] J. Edward Jesberg's obituary appeared in the Reading Eagle on Aug 16, 1947 saying he was a veteran of WW I and died at his home at 1316 N. 11th St., Reading. He was the son of William D. Jesberg and Delilah (Crum). He was survived by his mother and by his wife Mary Alice (Kline) Jesberg and was buried at Charles Evans Cemetery. Mrs. Mary A. Jesberg's obituary appeared in the Reading Eagle of Jan. 13, 1977, saying she was 90 years old, and had resided at Berks Heim since Aug. 16, 1972. It mistakenly identifies her husband as William D. Jesber, who died Oct. 22, 1918. This of course was her father-in-law. Mary A. Jesberg's Death notice appeared in the Reading Eagle, saying she died on Jan. 12, 1977. William D. Jesberg did not seem to have an obituary in the Reading Eagle, but there was an article on his funeral. It says his last residence was 1062 North 10th Street, which is the same residence I found him in the 1910 census, where he, Delila and Edward age 21 were living. The funeral article does not identify his survivors...other than to say he received flowers from son Edward and wife; among others. Betty Burdan
