Remember Berks County was erected in 1752, so records prior to that would be in the local church records, if they exist. Go to the Berks County Register of Wills site. http://www.co.berks.pa.us/rwills/s/RegMain.htm here you should be able to click on Berks County Deaths search and search their index. They do not have all the deaths that occurred, only the ones recorded in the County. After 1906 the Commonwealth of PA began keeping all birth and death records. They would be kept in the State office.
