Thank you for the information.... Does anyone have information as to when George Weidner and or Elizabeth Schmehl died and where? According to John Schnabel Weidner's 1915 Death Certificate it said his parents were George Weidner and Mary Schmehl. He was buried at Christ Yocum's Church... Does George or Elizabeth's ancestry go back to the Schnabel family which connects back with the Keffer family. Also buried at Christ Yocum is a William U. Weidner who died in 1884 and his wife Elizabeth who died in 1890. There is also a Jeremiah U. Weidner born at the same time as William U. and could be one in the same. Both living in Cumru Twp., both born at the same time and both listed in the census as a Carriage Maker. Thanks, Chris Smithson Christopher T. "Chris" Smithson 127 N. But the Trinity Church records, as translated and compiled by the late Jackie Nein and friends does have them married 1 Apr 1832, and lists both from Robeson Township. My own database has George born in Cumru Twp. abt 1808, s/o Jacob Weidner and Hannah Barton. Elizabeth Schmehl I haven't connected to main Schmehl family. Seems odd John's middle name is Schnabel. I wonder if mother's maiden name should be Schnabel and not Schmehl?? I do have William U. Weidner, born 10 Jan 1840 Cumru Twp. and brother Jeremiah U., born 8 Mar 1844 Cumru Twp. Sons of Jeremiah Weidner, 12 May 1810 to 8 dec 1850, buried Yocum's and Mary Ulrich, dates unknown. Old Jeremiah son of Samuel Weidner, 1774. death and burial unknown. Could probably find some of these people if I actually left the Oley Valley. guy Smithson, Christopher T. wrote: > Thank you for the information.... > > Does anyone have information as to when George Weidner and or Elizabeth > Schmehl died and where? > > According to John Schnabel Weidner's 1915 Death Certificate it said his > parents were George Weidner and Mary Schmehl.
