A Wernersville couple each receive a life interest in one-half of the principal of life trust funds from an estate valued at more than $1,000,000, it was learned today. Lewis Peter Morton and Miriam Morton, both of Bynden Wood, are the recipients. They are the adopted children of the late Miss Mary Morton, daughter of the late Levi P. Morton, one time vice president of the United States. The estate was inherited originally by Miss Morton with the power of appointment from her father and mother, Levi P and Mrs. Anna L Morton. According to the appraisal of Miss Morton's estate, file for State transfer tax purposed in New York today, the bequests of Lewis Peter and Miriam Morton constitute the major part of the estate, which was valued at $1,011,513 gross and $853,622 net. Each also receive specific household effects and silverware. Reading Man Named, Jack Castor, of Reading, receives lots in South LaJolla, San Diego, Cal valued at $4,500. Minnie Gerhard and Temple L. Perry, both of Wernersville receive $50,000 and $25000 respectively. Miss Morton who resided in S Heidelberg township died in Geneva, Switzerland, April 20, 1932.
