Hi, If your relatives are from Berks County, they probably got married there, http://rwills.co.berks.pa.us/geneology/. Has an index of names and you can look for them. If you do not live in Reading you can order a copy of the license and the license usually lists parents. The index starts about 1885 and goes to present, the only problem is common names, I needed to look up a William Moyer and there were about 60 of them in the 1885-1925 index section. When I was starting to do research, about 10 years ago, my dad insisted his great grandfather was George, but all my census research seemed to tell me he was Samuel, when we found out about marriage licenses, he actually drove down to Reading to get his grandparents marriage license, the next day. I live in Ohio, so I could not drop everything and drive over. He got the license and it clearly listed his great grandfather as being Samuel. Samuel died about 15 years before my dad's dad was born and his dad never had any stories about him, so when we started doing genealogy no one living had any info on great grandpa.
