    2. Can someone please help with this research on George Ritter (1732-1808)? I am looking for the burial location, source for birth, marriage ect.. I have some dates but have no idea where the sources came from... This is what I have:George Ritter was born, 17 Feb 1732/33 in Exeter, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He died 18 Nov 1808 in Exeter, Berks County, Pennsylvania Wife: Maria Elizabeth Dieter (1739-1808). I found a will abstract: 1808 Will Abstract of George Ritter, Exeter, Berks, Co., PA RITTER, GEORGE, Exeter. March 1, 1808 - December 2, 1808. To wife Maria Elisabeth use of all estate during widowhood. After her decease to son Isaac all my land in Exeter for which he shall pay £2050 to other heirs, as follows: to son Johannes £300, to son Jacob £250, to son Henrich £550, to son Christian £350, son Abraham £300, dau. Barbara wife of Christian HECHLER £150, and dau. Maria wife of George GOTTSHALL £150. Exrs: Son-in-law Christian HECHLER and friend Adam YOUNG. Letters to HECHLER, the other renouncing. Wits: Jacob SCHNEIDER and Daniel RITTER. Translation. Also in the book "Biographies from Historical and Biographical Annals of Berks County, PA" by Morton Montgomery. Published in 1909 by J. H. Beers & Co. Page 658 states that this George Ritter was a Revolutionary soldier, and his grandson David Ritter (father of Jacob R.) had the bayonet he used while in the service. George Ritter b.
