There is a full will on the Berks genweb board of Frederick FUHRMAN who died in Robeson in 1823. His wife was Elizabeth who survived him. These are his children listed in his will: ... my nine children, namely, John Fuhrman, Philip Fuhrman, Jacob Fuhrman, Daniel Fuhrman, Henry Fuhrman, Barbara intermarried to Michael Beishlein, Elisabeth intermaried to Philip Schultz, Catharine intermaried to Jacob Fuhrman and Mary intermaried to John Kachel, but in case the said Barbara should die before her husband Michael Bishlein than[sic then] her share is to come to her the said Barbara's son Jacob. And I nominate and appoint my sons Henry Fuhrman and Daniel Fuhrman to be the Executors of this my last will and Testament. Witness my hand this seventh day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three. Deaths in the Reading Adler Tuesday 10/21/1823 Edition: Fredrich FUHRMANN of Robeson Twp, this county, died on the 10th inst in his 81st year. Does anyone know where Frederick is from? Did he come from Montgomery Co, in Franconia area? I found a baptism at Indian Creek Reformed church for who I think is his daughter under spelling of FORMAN. Is this the same family?: Child: Anna Barbara Forman Birth/Baptism Date: 2 Feb 1766 Location: Indianfield Lutheran Church, Franconia Township County: Montgomery State: Pennsylvania Father: Frederick Forman Mother: Mrs. Elisabeth Forman Jim Freeman, do you have a birthdate for the Peter who died 1857? Thanks.... Diana in AL ---------------------------------------- Jim Freeman wrote: Elizabeth Freeman, w/o George Freeman and m/o Peter, was the d/o George and Maria Gerhart of Cumru Twp., Berks Co. She was born in Germany and died in 1862 at the Centre Twp. home of her son John Freeman. My guess would be that the Peter Foreman/Fuhrman in question is not her son. Peter Freeman died in 1857, before his mother, and left a widow, Sarah (Feinhauer). I have seen the Fuhrman/Foreman name on census records for the same area of Cumru Twp., specifically the Freemansville area. I haven't connected them to the Freeman line even though I have found the Freeman surname spelled Fuhrman on occasion. >>Fredrich FUHRMANN of Robeson Twp, this county, died on the 10th inst in his 81st year. No. I wish I did.. He is one of my ancestors. I suspect the Fuhrmanns may have come from Montgomery Co., possibly Franconia. He was married to an Elizabeth.
