He was the son of George Sittler and Catherine Barbara Moser. I am unable to get these documents from the state as the events took place after 1906. You won't find a birth certificate that early (1700s), so look in church baptismal records. 1874 death may be recorded by the county, but you'll have to go to the county archives to get it; also might show in an obituary in a newspaper, so check those sources online (I can't give you specifics for Berks Co or Lynn). Marriage is too early to have been in a newspaper (generally starts around 1840s, I think) but should show in some church's records. Donna Irish's book on PA German Marriages doesn't show George Philip but shows his brother Jonathan Sittler b. 1 Aug 1799, d. Feb 1834, also marrying a Straub girl, Magdalena, on 3 Mar 1822., found in the Helffrich personal records Part 12, Roll 141-142. If you know the exact date of death you may also find it in the Reading Eagle which is online at Google Newspapers. Just because he did not died in Reading his association with Berks County could earn him an obituary, especially if there were siblings, parents, or children remaining in Reading. An obituary for one of my ancestors was in the Reading Eagle even though he died in Philadelphia. If you look in the Reading Eagle you will need to look at it page by page for a couple of weeks after the deaths, as it may not be picked up in the Google index.
