Her maiden name is new information, which ties to her son living with her brother in the 1910 census. Strange family, indeed. I'm suspecting J. David Eagle is out of wedlock or a very short-lived marriage, so tracking his father is going to get dicey. Cheers! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. She was survived by 2 daughters (as listed in her obit): Josephine (Mrs. Hankinson) and Nellie Dutton (Bausman) I believe or both of the girls were married once (at least) before. They adopted a number of Russian, Latvian children as well who used the name Jordan (like Lena, who was purported to have been the person PERSON to have performed the triple somersault, not Ernie Clark as previously thought -- there is some controversy, though, that her somersault was a "thrown" and not true somersault.) Josephine and Nellie toured after Lewis/Louis died in 1912 as the Jordan Sisters. The mother is believed by some to be the first female catcher in a trapeze act. I would love to connect with anyone with knowledge of this great family and especially to learn if some of their ancestors continue to perform (for instance, Johnny and Paul Jordan performed with The Flying Wallendas/Great Wallendas (Paul was married to K! arl's daughter Carla), but I do not know if the are any relation to any of the Jordans of "The Flying Jordans." auntie_tee@hotmail.com Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. You did not give there birth dates or death dates. It also depends on where (urban /rural/ very rural) they lived, and I know it is not politically correct but their financial status. I was able to get a picture of my great grandparent because I found someone with a picture of a reunion which they attended. By scanning at a high resolution I was able to get a good picture of them. I don't know if this will help, but if you are willing to be a little loose with the spelling, in 1850 there is a Lovinia Shell (30 yrs) and a Mary Ann Shell.(12yrs) in Lower Heidelberg Twp. I believe this family lives a couple of mile north of the St Johns Hain's church. I have no proof but believe her husband is working at a near by farm These people are living with my 2nd great grandparents Joshua and Mary Barlet. (Joseph and Maria ) In the 1850 they appear by a variant of the name, Ballad. I believe Lovinia is their daughter. If you think this fits, I have information for about 7 generation, or from 1747 through today. They are in dwelling 127 family 137.
