    3. Christopher, There are a bunch of Barbara and Jacob Hill's. It will take me awhile to sift through them to find the right one. Apparently there is a Jacob Hill married to a Barbara and that complicates the search. I will try to get to it as soon as I can. We were amazed to find daffodils and hyacinths and other plants around. Since no one was allowed in since 1976 due to a property owner that patrollled with shotgun (Bonnies husband was VERY lucky he got out un seen) we were amazed to find the flowers. There is now a right of way access that is on the Beecham Road side. You walk straight up the hill and around the back of the graveyard and down the front. DO not stray from that path. Do not enter from the front. There are four months a year a vehicle is allowed in for maintanance or for a person not able to walk the hill. We intially paid two guys to go in and remove all the smaller trees that they were competant to do and the brush that prevented us from getting in to work. Then we had a professional take down the trees that were over our heads. Then we had a group work session to clear the rest. THen another when we rented a shredder and paid a guy to operated it while we brought the brush and sticks to him. Someone else removed the wood and used it as firewood. We spent some time resetting leaning/fallen tombtones and raising up some sunken ones. THen in Spring we started with the Mason repairing the front wall and stiles and chipped out and repointed. While waiting for October to roll around (when a vechicle could be in) Neil went in twice and weedwhacked to keep it down. We tried to locate family members to take over the maintanance to no avail. No one was interested. So Neil agreed to adopt it and try to keep an eye on it and be like the team captain. So if anyone is interested in helping with the maintanance with Neil, even if its one or two times a year contact Neil neilain@dejazzd.com to co ordinate it. It is too big for one person to care for alone. We are now in the process of almost being done with chipping out repairing and re pointing the SECOND wall on the Beecham Road side. The organization needs contributions towards it. (501 c 3) We would like to able to do all four walls. Please all read our archived newsletters from2011 and 2012 for more on the Hechler Esterly Burial ground at www.bcagp.org. David Eagle is the father of my wife's aunt by marriage. >From what I understand, the family was very tight lipped about J. David Eagle..... And, assuming that all the stars have aligned in our thinking- Tamson Breidenbach Trace would have been 15-17 years old at the time of his birth, and before John Trace come onto the scene. She is the daughter of William Breidenbach. So, I'm thinking she could have been married to an EAGLE, or this was a birth out of wedlock, making finding the father even harder. J. David Eagle never shows up in her household in any census, however, J. David Eagle is listed in the 1900 and 1910 census living in the home of John Breidenbach as a nephew. In the 1920 census, he is married living in his in-laws home, in the 1930 census his name is misspelled as EAGE again living in his in-laws home. His obituary -1934- says Tamsen Trace is his mother, and the half-brothers and sisters all jive- it does not mention his father. Even the married names of the girls jives with the census and obits. So, I am confident Tamsen Trace is the mother of J. David Eagle. J. David Eagle had a son Paul, and Paul had my wife's aunt by marriage, Sabina Eagle Greer. I have sent away for his death certificate in hopes the fathers name is on that, but since Tamsen was alive at that time, my money says that information will be missing. We can continue chatting via email as not to turn this into a chat room. danoh19344@hotmail.com Ironically, neither you nor I are in the gene pool. cheers Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
