I would like to second the motion. The information that has been posted in this mail list, has given me so much information on the family of Catharine and Ephriam Barlett. When I started this quest the only thing I knew about them was from the listing in the 1870 census from Reading Pa. With the information from the mailing list I have found a lot of information on their family, a brother of my great grand father Jacob Barlett; and Daniel Bartlet and his family who I am confident is Ephriam brother With the information about the family History Library, I now have images of their death certificates. Lechner retired farmer of Manatawny, died yesterday at his home, aged 81 years, 5 months, and 7 days. He was school director for 20 years and a member of Camp 480, P. O. S. of A., of Manatawny, and the Knights of the Golden Eagle, of Manatawny. Mr. Lechner had been in failing health for the past 3 years, but was bedfast only 10 days. He was a son of the late William and Matilda (Long) Lechner, and is survived by his widow, Fannie (Haas) and the following children: Warren and Frank, Reading; Wilson, of town; Samuel, at home; Hannah, wife of Charles Griesemer, Reading, and Charles, at home. Nineteen grandchildren, seven great-children also remain, as well as one sister, Mrs. Amelia Bowman, of town. bucks co. history-bedminster ott, benjamin-grandson of peter ott, who was born and lived in this twp. he was twice married. his son george, father of benjamin. he was a farmer. he died while in rockhill in feb. 1872, aged 82. his wife mary jacoby, was born in haycock twp., died in bedminster sept, 1875 aged 73. their children, catharine, peter, thomas, sarah, jacoby of hatfield, montgomery co., daniel of tinicum, mary w/oisaac fluck of rockhill twp., benjamin, born oct. 26, 1832. on nov. 23, 1856 he married susannah, d/o thomas kramer. she was born feb. 17, 1839. children; wilson k., thomas, mary elisabeth, hannah, etta, quintes and ida. members of the lutheran ch. haycock twp. ott, jeremiah, of keller's ch., was born in bedminster in 1829. john ott, grandfather, was a son of michael ott, also of bedminster, who was born in 1770. in 1792 he married dorothy keller, d/o john who owned the place whereon the ott family now resides. in the year 1800 john ott bought this place from his b-i-l henry keller. john ott lived on this farm, he had 3 sons and 5 daus. magdalena, alexander, elisabeth, sarah, jacob, hannah, john, and mary ann. the youngest married a mr. dietrich of phila. john ott's wf died in 1811, he married 2nd to elisabeth marsteller, no children were born to the 2nd marriage. jacob,, 5th of the family was born in 1800, in 1829 he married mary, d/o george ratzel of bedminster. one son (jeremiah) was born to this union. jeremiah ott married in 1858 to lucy ann, d/o david kramer, of bedminster. to them were born 2 sons and 3 daus. lydia louisa, w/o t. m. frantz, of sellersville, oliver k., ellamada, mary emma and john henry. the mother of the family died in 1872, the farm being bequeathed to jeremiah at the death of his father in 1875.
