There was a Daniel Oswald of Rockland who married a Keller. I hope the format carries through here in a readable fashion. Egles Notes and Querries: Annual Volume 1897 Notes & Querries XXII p. 125-126 [summary] John Christophel Keller, arrived in American on the ship Brittania, Sept. 26th, 1764. He was the son of a weaver at Nitsche, on the Rhine, in Hesse Darmstadt. Jacob Keller had six children, two died in childhood. There were two sons both named Johan Adam (called Big John and Little John), Stoffel [a.k.a. John Christophel] and Elizabeth Catharine. Jacob Keller gave Stoffel a "considerable amount of money in gold, which he sewed in a belt and carried on his body". Landing in Philadelphia, he [Stoffel] walked to Rockland Township, in Berks County where he lived with the Reichert family, who were also from Nitsche. In Rockland Stoffel was a weaver and in 1765 at 18 years of age he married Catharine, a daughter of John Nicholas Delp (who came to America in 1749). Soon after the marriage, Stoffel secured a tract of land from his father-in-law, which he cleared and built a home on that remained the Keller home for 100 years. Stoffel Keller died at his old hom in November or December, 1834, at age of 89 years, his wife Catharine preceded him in death over ten years. . His son-in-law, Joseph Specht, Esq. [h/o Susanna Keller], at the time occupying the place. The children of John Christoffel Keller and Catharine Delp Keller are: I. Maria Keller, b. about 1767; d. 1859; buried at Mertz Church, Rockland; .arried to Michael Welter. They had children: i. Polly m. to Abrahm Boyer, Maxatawny township ii. Catharine, m. George Welter, removed to Ohio. iii Elisabeth, m. to -------- Seuse iv. Sarah, m. Isaac Redinger v. Susan, m. Daniel Gerrett, Schuylkill County vi. Dinah m. Sol. Heist, Rockland Township vii John m.     3. I am interested in exchanging info with anyone researching the Brautigam/ Breidigam/ Bridegam family of Berks County. My immigrant ancestor was Paul Brautigam (@1730-1789) who was married to Margaretha (maiden name unknown). They had 9 children that I know of: Johannes; Paul Jr.; Adam; Johann George; Henrich (Henry); Susanna; Elizabethz; Michael & Barbara. Paul immigrated in 1753 on ship "Richard & Mary".
