(Ancestry sends you to a third party to purchase it & I can't find it at FamilySearch.) You've made my day. Thanks for the link about Nestor Dmytriw. The 1910 census for Northampton identifies him as a church rector, but doesn't name the church. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The parties to the marriage are shown as Mary Kosminska and Stephan Upolanko (Also Upolansko where he made his mark to sign.) They lived at 517 Willow St, Reading. Both state they were born in Austria, which is always confusing because of Austria-Hungary and the various ethnic groups it encompassed. The marriage took place in Northampton, PA. The celebrant was Nestor Dmytrow. The marriage license was returned to the county where issued (Berks). It is recorded in 1904 Berks records under Upolansko, vol. 28, p. 727. I'm unable to download the image at present to attach it to this post, but here is a link: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1942-21130-36445-44?cc=1589502&wc=MMY5-S21:730912323 I found a Nestor Dmytrow in the 1910 census in Northampton, but I don't have access to Ancestry to look at the actual image. His census record may give a clue about the church or other house of worship that he was affiliated with and a source for other family records. I doubt the couple would go to Northampton for a civil marriage. Nestor probably spoke their language. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I have an Reading Eagle obituary that says Joseph Barlet died in Rickstown on November 21, 1869, and the 1870 mortality schedule say he died in the 6th ward in Nov 1869. His widow is living his widow living in the 6th Ward in the 1870 census. Am I correct in thinking that Black Alley is not in the area called in Rickstown or 6th Ward in 1869? Thank you.
