I found some of the lines I am searching there and contacted them directly for info. I made a trip to PA and visited the cemeteries and to the county court records, not enough time to really do a lot of research, the people were extremly helpful and very polite. 3. Yes, there is a Fairview Cemetery in Colebrookdale Townshp, Berks County, just outside of Boyertown Borough. An index to the 1985 headstone reading of Fairview Cemetery is posted on the Historical Society of Berks County library web-site. All their indexes are searchable. http://www.berkshistory.org/library/ There is also another Fairview Cemetery in Berks County, I think it is in Sinking Spring. Betty Burdan

If we have a match, I can give you his mother's information. William Wagner is the son of my gr.gr.gr.gr.grandmother Catherine Wagner and her 2nd husband Tobias Wagner. William was born in Upper Bern Twp. I have the St. Michael's Cemetery #1 Book but I do not find a William Wagner that matches the birth information I have for him. As for the Sarah Cox information....not sure about this marriage as of yet. Found this information on Ancestry Tree but I have no proof. Since there were a few William Wagners born abt the same time would like to be sure I know if Sarah is correct wife before I attach her to him. Hope we have a match. Author: bjburdan Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.berks/9848.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Barto is a small burg, including a store, hotel, and some homes on Old Route 100, between Bechtelsville and Bally, PA. To the best of my knowledge there were no churches of any denomination in Barto in the 19th century. There was a Union Church in Bechtelsville to the west and Catholic and Mennonite Churches to the east in Bally. St. Joseph's Hill Union Church (both Reformed and Lutheran) was up the hill from Barto as was Huff's Church. St. Joseph's Hill is now the Lutheran, not the Reformed denomination. Boyertown is within 5 miles of Barto and they had a German Reformed congregation there as early as 1811. Falkner Swamp Reformed Church in New Hanover, Montgomery County, was the mother of most of the local Reformed congregations. You might be surprised at how far you ancestors traveled to attend chuch. Also remember that many of the baptisms and weddings were performed in the home, by traveling ministers. What surname are you looking for?
