For each Company they gave a list of all the battles that particular unit engaged in during war and fully described the individual battles in detail. Thanks Again. Best Wishes, Pat Uffenorde

Author: SharonKleinstuber Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.berks/7440.6.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: My great-grandmother was Eva (Lorraine or Leonora) Koch. She was baptised 7 Jan 1872 by Rev. F.K. Huntzinger at Shalter's Church in Fleetwood; d/o Jacob & Emeline Koch - recorded at St. Luke's Lutheran, Reading. In 1891, she married her first cousin, once removed - Howard Schmehl. Eva's mother married Franklin Miller on 17 Mar 1877, so Eva's father, Jacob Koch, must have died about 1876. So far, I have been unable to locate a record of his birth, marriage or death. I don't know who his parents were. I found a Jacob, age 14 (son of John Koch)in the 1860 census in Muhlenberg Twp. that might be my Jacob. But that's about all I have on my Koch line. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
