    3. Jamie, I have information on the New York Sands families from Sands Point, NY, most of which came from postings on the net. I only copied the portions of it that pertained to my Sands line, which arrived in Amity Twp., Berks County about 1734. Search for Sands Point, NY and you will find many articles to refer to. Betty

    2. Betty, They both were born abt. 1681 and both died on the same day, which the day I don't have, but the month was April and year 1758, because they were killed by indians. I believe that might be in the history books. What I am looking for is her parents, I have Hans Jacob's father, but no mother......only one survivor in that family, because not only was the parents killed all the kids except one was killed as well. They are both buried in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. I am having someone get some photos for me for that cemetery. Just was wondering if you might have her parents names since you are working on the Sands name. jamie -----Original Message----- From: Betty Burdan <bjburdan@dejazzd.com> To: paberks@rootsweb.com Sent: Sun, 4 May 2008 7:45 pm Subject: [PABERKS] Margaret Sands Leibenguth Jamie, I have a lot of files, can you narrow it down to a time frame or a near location? 2. I don't have anything else on Jacob. I used the Royer book to find my ancestors, but then when I started to do some serious work, I discovered errors in my line. (The book was wrong.) If Jacob was married to a Catherine, most likely it was another Jacob in your line. Barrett could maybe also be Bartlet, who were hanging around Berks Co. also.
