    2. Actually they COULD sound alike--in that Keziah might be referred to as "Kezzie" or even "Cassie" and that could sound like "Kathy" -- or even Cassie could be the nickname for Catherine. So if the parents said her name was "Cassie" the enumerator could have heard "Keziah." Joan In a message dated 5/11/2008 9:47:55 P.M. 1. Re: [PABERKS] Shartle Family
    2. Hi Gail, I was very excited to read the information you posted regarding the Shartle Family. I have been trying to find information on Colonel Peter Shartle and his family. When I was growing up my mother said we were related to him but I was not interested in that at the time. Now that I am my mother is no longer here for me to talk to about it. My great grandfather Alfred Mervine married Amelia S. Shartle who was the daughter of William Shartle and Jestina (Justina) Weist, so William Shartle is my ggg grandfather. I have been trying to find a line from William on back. I had lived in Berks County almost all my life until 8 yrs. ago when I moved here to Pittsburgh. I will be moving back to Berks County within the year and plan on visiting the cemeteries there in Shartlesville as I was told my gg grandfather William is buried there. Any other information you or anyone else has would be so greatly appreciated. Linda :-) **************Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight? Get new twists on family favorites at AOL Food. 2. Guy Bierman
    3. As per first hit on Google: , Keziah means cassia in Hebrew, from the name of a spice tree. In the Old Testament Keziah was a daughter of Job. Guy (male name Guy is pronounced /gye/. It is of Old German <http://www.thinkbabynames.com/search/1/old+german> origin, and its meaning is "wood <http://www.thinkbabynames.com/search/1/wood>", or "warrior <http://www.thinkbabynames.com/search/1/warrior>")
