    1. [PABERKS] Rheuvalen Leiss
    2. I am looking for any information on Rheuvalen (aka: Valentine) Leiss, b: 1858. He is the son of Adam Leiss & Elizabeth (Gassert) Leiss-Reed-Ehrenfelt. Elizabeth was the daughter of Michael & Margaret (Reed) Gassert. Margaret is the daughter of Christian & Maria Elizabeth (Trautmann) Reed. Elizabeth had Rheuvallen with Adam Leiss (do not know his parents, can anyone help?). The 1870 Census shows Elizabeth married to Daniel Arenfelt (s/b Ehrnfeldt) with the following in the household: Daniel - age 42 Elizabeth - age 35 Daniel Arenfelt - age 4 Amanda Reed - age 8 R. Adam Leiss - age 12 There is no record of marriage for Elizabeth to either Adam Leiss or (Husband, possibly Alexander) Reed. so it is possible that both Amanda and Rheuvalen were born out of wedlock and both father's lives were cut short at an early age. Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Also what happened to Amanda? She is in the 1880 Census as a servant with the Issac Hoffa family. Rheuvallen married Hannah Behney, daughter of Benjamin & Isabella (Reedy) Behney. Thanks, in advance, for any help that anyone can give me. Suella

    1. [PABERKS] George Moyer
    2. Guy Bierman
    3. Hmmm, Moyer data is missing from my Trinity Records. Reminds me I have to get busy with Trinity records formating. However, suspiciously close is a baptism for Georg Mayer. Born 3 Aug 1819, bapt. 12 Sept 1819, Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading. No sponsors listed, parents George and Catharina Mayer. In the marriage records of same church is George Mayer, Cumru Twp. married 3 Dec 1815 to Catharina Gross, also Cumru Twp. Couldn't find any more for George and Catharina. Maybe they moved to Lancaster County, maybe they're in Moyer section I'm missing. --

    1. [PABERKS] GEORGE MOYER husband of Caroline L. Ancona
    2. Sara A. Straub
    3. My great grandmother's sister Caroline Louisa Ancona (daughter of Dr. Morris Ancona of Berks Co., PA) married George Moyer in 1845 (or 1848). George was born 03 Aug 1820 in Lancaster Co., PA (possibly Reamstown). He was supposedly orphaned sometime as a boy, and he and his siblings went to live at various farms. There is some suspicion that he might have lived in Berks County after he was orphaned. I have a note from one of the descendants that his birth records are at Trinity Lutheran. I made one attempt at getting those records at Trinity when I was in Reading about 2 years ago but I could not find them. I have no idea how he met Caroline. She was living in Alsace Township at the time of the marriage. We believe that the Ancona family lived in the house on Friedensberg Rd at the corner of Old Spies Church Rd adjacent to what was the Ancona School. I wonder if George Moyer lived in that general area. Several years after their marriage George and Caroline moved to Illinois. I am off to a Moyer family reunion in Oklahoma soon to meet my "cousins" for the first time. We are all interested in finding out more about George MOYER and will appreciate any suggestions for research. Sara A. Straub, Tallahassee FL

    2. It should be noted that this is ONLY for personal use that you can obtain information about yourself from more recent census records that have not been publicly released for a fee as noted below. You can't get info on others or for genealogical research until the data is publicly released. In other words, the use would be for someone who needs the census data to prove they are of age to qualify for Social Security and they do not have a birth certificate.
