This is a shift from your thread, but I have a family of Barlets who lived in the Stouchsburg, Pa area. I would greatly appreciated it if you wold check the Christ Lutheran Church for any Barlets that may be recorded. The known members of the family are Joseph and Mary Barlet, and their son Ephraim. Based on the 1830 and 1840 census there are at least two daughters and another son. Ephraim can be found in the records of the St John's (Haims Church) in Wernersville, and in the Trinity Tulpehocken Reformed in Millardsville. It is know that the one son of Ephraim was a life long member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wells Co Indiana where the children were after their parents died. Ephraim's first wife was Susanna Anna Matternus, (several spelling variation) and they were married at the Trinity Tulpehocken Thanks for taking time to consider my request.
