    1. Re: [PABEAVER] Stewart/Snyder
    2. I am looking for information for MARY V. STEWART Snyder, born in Beaver Co, PA. She was married to Samuel S. Snyder, a United Brethren minister. I know they had one daughter Bath. I can track them on census records: They lived in Blair Co. PA on the 1850 census, on to Iowa on the 1860 census. I can track his activities thru the ministry. They lived outside Lawrence Kansas at the time of the Quantril Raid. He was at killed August 21, 1863, as the raiders rode into Lawrence. I have Samuel S. Snyder's Civil War records, Mary applied for widow's benefits and was denied. Samuel S. Snyder was from Huntingdon Co, PA. I believe he was a son of Henry and Nancy Brown Snyder. I am interested in Mary V. Stewart Snyder's parents and if anyone knows anything about their daughter Bath. Bath Snyder was left a small inheritance from Henry Snyder in the 1870's. Through this, I am hoping to find absolute proof that the minister, Samuel S. Snyder was a son of Henry and Nancy Brown Snyder. If anyone has any information, please e-mail me at :nataliesgram@hotmail.com. I am changing my e-mail address in the next few days. Thanks, Teresa Shade Anderson
