Hi judie, Alfred Whisler, a dentist in Beaver County (born 1839) married Mary E. Marquis (daughter of Dr. Marquis and Emeline S. and born 1852 in Rochester, PA). I will look thru my notes but I believe I originally found some info on her on the internet in DAR files. More was written about her and her family in "History of Beaver County, 1888". Do you think she might be linked to yours? Dr. Marquis' father was David Marquis and a Joseph was listed as children. I can send you what a nice lady typed up about them from the book if you like.
