Dear Joyce, You may have to go to Pittsburgh to find the naturalization papers. I have been trying to find my gggrandfather's papers, and the Beaver County courthouse said that they didn't have the staff to search. I lucked out and an aunt had the original papers, but they were in terrible shape. We could read the date, though and I have a copy of his "papers" from Allegheny Co. They aren't very legible and I didn't get any new info from them. I haven't been able to find the letter of intent, which is what I really want. It usually has the date and port of entry on it. The Declaration of Intent was sometimes called "First Papers". Good luck. Cathy
