William LOWREY/LOWRY [born 1760] moved from Chester Co. to Beaver Co. some time before 1782. He served in Capt. John Ramsey's company in Chester Co. twice during the American Revolution. In 1782, while living in Beaver Co., William LOWREY/LOWRY enlisted in Capt. Thomas Rankin's company, under Col. David Williamson and Col. Crawford in the campaign against the Indians at Sandusky.
