Looking to confirm or refute that wife Mary is Mary (Taylor) Tennis and the couple are the same Oliver and Mary Tennis mentioned in the will of Sam Taylor, Richland Co, OH, who died in 1849. M. b 1851 Samuel b 1854 Elizabeth b 1857 I am a Taylor researcher and a descendant of James Taylor, who I believe to be a brother of Mary (Taylor) Tennis, above, and to the Sam Taylor who died in Richland Co, OH in 1849. There are several Tennis families in Beaver Co all through the 19th century, probably all related. One of those, a Samuel Tennis, was a neighbor to Thomas Taylor in the 1810 census.
