    3. In 1968 my parents Herman and Dorothy (ROBINSON) TAFINI, grandmother Bertha (RAMBO) ROBINSON and I set out from Grandma's home at Glenmoor in St. Clair Twp., Columbiana Co., OH for a day of cemetery hunting in Beaver Co., PA. We stopped first to pick up great aunt Laura (RAMBO) HICKMAN who was wearing her sun bonnet. Aunt Laura remembered putting flowers on the grave of her grandmother near Raccoon Creek in Beaver County, PA about 1900 with her father Samuel Allison RAMBO. In 1857, when Samuel was an infant, his mother was killed by a "cross dog". Aunt Laura did not remember her grandmother's name or the exact location of the cemetery. We stopped at Shippingport and talked with my granmother's cousin Cathryn (RAMBO) CALHOON. Her husband Carl CALHOON agreed to lead us to an unnamed cemetery on Moffet Mill Road. The cemetery has been identified as the CRAIL Cemetery and Center Church Cemetery. Most of the gravestones in the cemetery were laying flat, some covered with a few inches of dirt and leaves. A few stones were leaning against trees. We probed around and uncovered several markers. There were a number of flat river rocks that were used as markers with no readable markings. We recorded the inscriptions of 12 readable stones at that time including: COLEMAN KNOWLES MARR RAMBO REED Aunt Laura remembered just where her grandmother's grave was. It was laying flat and covered over. Abigail S. Wife of Daniel RAMBO Died Jan. 12, 1857 in her 26 yr Abigail was born 19 Aug. 1832 in Beaver County, PA the daughter of William SMITH and Margaret McDONALD. In April 1852 she married Daniel RAMBO son of Michael and Elizabeth RAMBO. We also found the gravestone of my gr-gr-gr grandfather Michael RAMBO and his mother Mary Ann wife of William RAMBO.
