I would like to let everyone know that the Research Center for Beaver Co and Local History is GREAT...... I sent them info way last yr and they were able to send me info back on my names with a small charge..this was last yr...about a month ago I got out of the blue some more info from them re my GGgrandfather such as his obit and another notice in the paper re what had caused his death...in 1884 you do not get death certificates...His obit also told me about his brother in law Michael O'Connor and wife who just came over from "the old country" a few days befor he died to go into business with him...so that explained the O'Connor baptismals that were on the search that I had done by the Diocese of Pittsburgh last yr that they could not prove because they did not have the marrage of the Elizabeth OKeane to this man in their records...but because of the OKeane name it was sent anyways...[my Ggranny was one of the sponosors at this baptismal so I knew there had to be a connection] ....3 days ago I got another letter from them and in it was the notice that GGgrandfather OKeane had applied for naturalization and to send to Beaver Court house for the application this also was out of the blue.... So I would suggest that if you live far like I do try sending them your names and what you have on them..give them everything you have and let them see what they can find for you...
