Hi I am researching the Samuel Lyon family of Ohio Township, Beeaver County. Samuel was in the 1850 census. The census indicates he was born in Pennsylvania in about 1800. As there was no record of him in the 1860 census, I believe he died some time between 1850 and 1860. The census shows Samuel and wife Catherine (b. 1805) with the following children: Mary b. 1825; Sarah b. 1828; John (my ancestor) b. 1832; Susan b. 1833; Austin b. 1835; Samuel b. 1837; Isaac b. 1841; Elizabeth b. 1843; and Matilda b. 1848. I believe that he may be buried in a cemetery in Ohio Township. Does any one have any information regarding Ohio Township cemeteries? Or better yet any information about Samuel Lyon?
