My gg-grandfather was Benjamin H. GODDARD (born 1830 IN PA - died circa 1908 in Washington Co., OH). His parents were possibly Joseph GODDARD (b. 13 Nov 1795 in PA - d. 5 May 1885 in Washington Co., OH) and Susannah HACKATHORN (b. 1800 in PA - d. 14 Mar 1883 in Washington Co., OH). There is the possibility that Benjamin and his parents were all born in Beaver Co., PA and that they moved to Washington Co., OH in the 1830s or 1840s. Another Hackathorn/Heckathorn researcher who contacted me was descended from George Adam Heckathorn, Jr. and Anna Martha Beegle from Beaver Co., PA. He thought that my Susannah could have been the daughter of George and Anna. That is all of the Hackathorn/Heckathorn info that I have. Sondra
