    1. Re: [PABEAVER-L] Pine Grove Cemetery
    2. In a message dated 98-07-12 13:55:03 EDT, you write: Nan, if i remember correctly , the Pine Grove Church used to stand across the road from the cemetery, and i believe it was maybe a Baptist church or maybe Methodist, but NOT Presbyterian. it was near Raccoon Creek, and i think i remember there being a few Turners, as well as a few other surnames, buried there. good luck, JoAnn. >> JoAnn Appreciate this information. It makes sense to me now, as my 3rd great grandfather is buried at Service Creek Cemetery which I understand is near or at Raccoon Creek. I wasn't aware of the close proximity. I'm actually looking for his daughter-in-law (my 2nd grgrandmother) MaryAnn (Green) Cain who d. ca 1818 or so. Family speculation is she might be buried at Pine Grove although I don't think she is listed in any index for Pine Grove (probably no stone). I wonder who might have records for the former Pine Grove Church? Would you or anyone on this list have any idea? Again thanks, Nan
