If one of my ancestors came to the US prior to the Revolutionary War, would he have gone right to Pennsylvania area -- specifically Western PA? Seems to me that it wasn't settled yet except by Indians and the English/French armies. Am I correct in thinking along these lines? Or, did we really have Scottish or Irish people settling the area before 1776? Deanna dlarson@swift-net.com
