Hi Elva Smith's Ferry is an area I am researching too. I did not find a Truman Smith in a quick scan. What years are you looking at? Are there other surnames. Smith's Ferry is all but gone now due to the locks and dams on the Ohio River. This town was situated low on the river bank. My grandfather ran the ferry boat between Georgetown and Smith's Ferry for many, many years until the bridge was built upriver at Shippingport. Carol/Pa
