I am a descendent of Talbot TOWNSEND of New Brighton (1782-1869) and have a lot of info on his descendents. Also am in possession of many letters written from Beaver Co., to my gggrandmother, Eliza Townsend GAMMEL, between 1851 and 1891. In these letters it often mentions friends and neighbors. Some of the names mentioned include; McCONNEL, JONES, MORLAN, WALKER, WALLAS, HAMOND, BACOM (spelling?), HARDINGS, SQUIRES. McCLURE, ERWIN (many references, may be a collateral family), McCALESTER, MEANS, THOMAS, TALBOT, BANCROFT, HOOPES, CALDWELL, McCLARY and others. Will share if you have connections to these families.
