Mike, There was a certain campaign in the Civil War that was called the battle of the wilderness. It was conducted in tree / brush covered terrain. Among many other things that happened in the wilderness, terrible fires broke out killing many. Some wounded that could not escape lay waiting for the fires. All in all, it was a terrible experience. On the other hand, what experience in war is good, when good people are dying.
