Modena I am also a Potts researcher. Have Mahala Potts Miller in 1850 Georgetown censes married to Hiram Miller. She later had children to David (?) Hays. Some of her children are listed with her in Georgetown 1880 census. Daughters Matilda and Rachel are also in 1880 census as visiters with Mahala's sister Lucinda in E Liverpool, Oh. census. The daughters are listed as Hays. Mahala, son William, daugthers Matilda and Rachel, plus gs William are also in Georgetown census as last name Hays.
