Can someone tell me where Wales, Ohio Valley, Pa. Is located? I was told that my Great grandmother was born there. I also have her obit that says Cora Belle Cain Daughter of John Levi Cain and Mary Jane Potts was born Sept. 10, 1873 in Imperial, Pa. Colleen, Imperial, PA is a town in the southwest corner of Allegheny County, PA, not Beaver Co., PA. It is to the northwest of Bridgeville and southwest of Pittsburgh. I don't know if Imperial had an earlier name or if Wales was an earlier name of a nearby town. The whole area surrounding the Ohio River is known as the Ohio Valley. It extends even into Ohio and West Virginia as the river goes between those states from its inception in Pittsburgh. Hope this helps.
