Well, I've gotten some obits from sending them some exact dates, throught the mail, so that's been my experience! I'm hoping to get there next summer! I'm sure that others will benefit others hearing about our successes! My 1st visit to the Beaver Falls Library a patron also doing research suggested I look in a type of scrap book that contained obituaries cut out from the newspaper. I found my Dad's 1st cousin which led me to remarkable discoveries after making a lot of contacts running all over Western PA. They are probably much more sophisticated now. My Dad's cousin died in 1981.I was at the library a year or two later. Some other earlier years are also available from them or the Beaver County Genealogical Society. They also have the news papers on microfilm if you have the exact dates but cannot look through a whole year. Alice At 03:51 PM 9/9/2002 -0400, you wrote: Hello listers, I'm new to this list. Could SKS please tell me where to look for obituaries from Beaver Falls in the early to mid 1900s? Are there any archived newspaper listings, online or in an historical society in Beaver County?
