I find Rachel in the 1850 census living at home and in 1870 living as Mrs William Wright with Isaac listed also. Isaac's obituary lists his half brothers as George and Daniel Wright from Hookstown. However, she and Isaac are nowhere to be found in the 1860 census although he was born in June 26, 1859. Isaac's death cert says his father was Nathan Potts. Information passed from my aunt says Nathan was a river boat captain nicknamed Shanty Boats. There is a Nathan in the 1860 census but he was married to someone else and he was a river boat captain. I am trying to make that link, I could be wrong. Nathan is listed in the 1850 census married to Eliza living with the Blacks. Eliza died and he remarried Elizabeth Black He also may have been the Nathan that owned a tavern there as I think he relocated to Brooke County when alcohol was prohibited in Beaver County. Any information woul! d be very much appreciated. Mary DelRe PS I also have noticed that both Isaac and his other 1/2 brother John Thompson gave their daughters the name Viola. My grandmothers name was actually Freida Viola Potts Do you show a Viola in your Wright history? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
