    1. [PABEAVER-L] LYON/PERRY Marriage, early 1900s
    2. Hi! I am new to this list. I am trying to find the marriage location, and any information about the life of my gr aunt, Linda Jane PERRY, to Thomson Harris LYON, about 1900-1912. She was from Liverpool, England. They lived in Southampton, England in 1912, and Brooklyn, NY in 1920. They later moved to Rochester, PA, where his family lived. She died about 1940, he sometime later. They are said to be buried in Zelianople. I would be grateful for any information about them, and can exchange information with anyone else researching this family. Sincerely, Marny Janson New Paltz, NY

    3. EVERYONE PLEASE NOTE; I am sorry but a few days ago I announced on this list that I have a book that records Beaver Co. PA Marriage announcements (1830-1973)..That was a typo mistake and I apologize!! The dates should be 1830-1873 NOT 1973. Since then, I have received several requests for searches for dates later than 1873. I'm sorry, I cannot help with those. 3. Marny, Thompson H. & Linda J.Lyon arrived in NY on 29 Dec. 1912 aboard the Ship New York from Southampton, U.K. They were married at that time, so may have been hitched in the UK. She gives as her status statement that she is the wife of an American citizen. Mr. Lyon was born in Butler, Butler, Pa 25 Apr. 1875. Mrs Lyon was born in 1878 in England. They gave as their destination, their home at 351 Jefferson St., Rochester, Beaver, PA. In 1930 they are renting a place on Ridge Blvd. in Brooklyn, N.Y. and he is working as a Marine Supt. for a company listed as I.M.M. In 1930 she gives as her date of emigration, 1915. This is incorrect as the 1912 date is certain. She may have been mistaken or may have been confused by the question, giving her date of naturalization instead. Hope this helps put the pieces together. Ed [email protected]
