    3. I'm glad that was helpful. For your records, it came from a book History of Beaver County 1888 published by A. Warner & Company. Taking some liberty considering frequent mis-spellings, James Blashford was named as guardian for Sarah Reading, dau. of deceased William Reading in Orphans Court, 1789-1820. There are a number of Bradford in the book named above. WARRICK, Beaver County Wills 1800-1900 James, 1871, book E, p. 307 Jesse, 1874, book F, p. 54 Isaac , 1880, book F, p. 436 WARRICK, Mrs. Died 3d inst., consort of Mr. Isaac Warrick, South Beaver Twp., aged about 65 years. 11 Nov. 1831 (date of publication in Beaver "Argus" Genealogical Gleanings) J. Moore Warrick, grandson of Isaac Warrick who (Isaac) came from England to New Jersey where he married Mary Thatcher...had seven sons and three daughters... Unfortunately the children are not named. Robert Harbison, ...b. South Beaver Twp. abt. 1795... his daughter Mary m. Isaac Warrick...lived in Ohio twp....dau Ann m. Eziriah Inman* (and continues on with names of other children and their spouses, this is a quite long entry). This Mary Harbison and Isaac Warrick may be parents of Mary Warrick who you are looking for. If you would like complete Harbison information let me know and I'll copy it. *Ann Harbison: this should be Marcha Ann Harbison and Azariah Inman. They are my g-grandparents. You can find much more in the Inman Compendium. Just another note, please forgive if I'm preaching to the choir...I found a treasure of information from my grandfather's Civil War pension application, names, dates, etc. that I'd never have found elsewhere. If Daniel Blackford applied for pension you might "strike it rich". Pensions provide much more than info. than simple service records. I'm happy to help, get just as excited and the searcher!! We had indications that Daniel W.'s father was Joseph. Now I will search for William Joseph! Do you have anything on a Mary Warrick? That is one suggestion for Daniel's wife. Thanks again, Debbie "Carol. Hamilton Post, No 338, G.A.R., was organized on the 23d of October, 1883, at Ohioville. Included in the names of charter members is Daniel Blackford. Don't know if he is appropriate age, apparently served in Civil War. Also, there is Wm. J. Blackford, b. 1848 - d. 1915, buried Dillworth Cemetery, Darlington, Darlinging twp. I was born and raised until fourth grade in Darlington - Darlington Lake - a group of "summer cottages" that became homes after WW II. I went to Achor (Negley, Cannelton, East Palestine area) and I saw (and was able to read) many of my ancestors headstones. The Achor Baptist Church was boarded up and delapidated. I tried and tried to find someone who had the records. My gggrandfather Daniel W. Blackford seems to have fallen from the sky as far as records go. Can't find parents or siblings. His wife Mary's headstone is in Achor too, but can't find her maiden name. Thank you for your help, Debbie Snyder Rousseau "Carol. S" <[email protected]> wrote: Hi Debbie, I've never been able to find any index of Achor burials. I suspect my g-grandparents [Edwards] are buried there. HOWEVER - a request to Beaver County Genealogical Society (http://www.rootsweb.com/~pabecgs) produced copies of their son, John Edwards, Date of Record burial May 1894. These Beaver County records include a wide variety of cemeteries in numerous counties. My Edwards ancestors lived in Darlington Twp. PA, adjacent to Achor Cemetery Oh. If you are a member of BCGS these searches require only a SASE, for non-members there is a small fee. The only alternative I can think of is requesting a researcher in the area to physically going there and search, for a small fee. I also did that, the result was "no Edwards" but she explained that many grave stones are unreadable or damaged.
