I had a John Coleman heirs that in the early 1900's, after the death of John, 1902, sold their land along Raccoon Creek of 20 acres, sold their land to a John wife, Martha Doyle. I have the deed, but that's all/I know that's allot! My query is this, what encompasses the Now, Raccoon Creek State Park? Can anyone tell me? I thought perhaps the state might own this through the park, but wanted to find out for sure. I've had this on my mind for many years, so thought I would throw it out there see if any of these questions could be answered. I've tried to search this out in the Beaver county courthouse to no answers, but I hadn't really gone very far at that time! Alice perhaps you could answer or someone else that has done deed researching in depth, because I haven't! Some specific place to write? Anyone have any suggestions?
