Hi Alice, Thank you, I've looked through Gleanings back to spring 2000, (except summer 2000) and didn't find mention of the influenza. I am searching for Juliette NOWRY, nee NICHOLSON. She was wife of George NOWRY. I have her in the 1910 census, but she is gone by the 1920 census. Having talked with Juliette's sister's gr-granddaughter, I know that Juliette's sister, Sarah McGoric, and her niece and nephew, died of the Influenza in 1918. The possibility is that she went across the border to her sister's when they got sick, and she wont show up in Beaver Co. deaths. Thanks, Kathy
Just checked my data base. Only have one Nowry listed as Rebecca (Mowry) Zimmerly the wife of Samuel Zimmerly. Do I have this surname mispelled or was there a Nowry and a Mowry family in Beaver Co? Please correct me, if I'm wrong.
