Elaine, there is I was told some years ago, a FHL at Greensburg, which is right outside downtown PGH, going back towards the airport/west. But yes, you can find out FHL from the webpage you mentioned. Only costs $3.50 with tax here in FL, at least! I now live far away (in Georgia). Our local LDS Family History Center recently got an internet connection, AND a subscription to Ancestry.com's census records (they are something like $100/year, too expensive for me on my own!) I don't know whether ALL Family History Centers are now getting Ancestry.com subscriptions, but it may be worth checking out. I don't know where the Family History Centers are in or near Beaver County, but you should be able to find out at www.familysearch.org . Or, some people tell me they just look up "Latter Day Saints" in the Yellow Pages under Churches, but I just tried this and couldn't find them. Anyway, I understand that the goal is that no one should have to drive more than 30 minutes to get to a Family History Center. Use of the Ancestry.com subscription at our center is free, but it costs 10 cents per page if you want to print out the images. By the way, if you are doing your research from far away, as I am, you can still access the census records for Beaver County at Ancestry.com. You can look up by name index, if the year you are looking for has an index, and if you are forgiving regarding the census taker's spelling of the names! Or you can narrow it down by location (State, County, District... etc).
