Modena, Thanks for the info on Isaac. I have a question, tho. I am descended from the Beegle side and have Charity Jane Beegle's birth date as 22 Jan. 1827. Isaac Green was born approx. 1804. His wife, Sarah, couldn't have been the daughter of Charity and James Potts. They did have a daughter, Sarah M., born 23 Mar 1861. Could there have been other parents for Sarah Elizabeth Potts Green? Re: Jacob Green-PA (Janis Young Aguilar) Janis, The Isaac J. Green, b. abt 1846 in VA or WVA, married to Matilda Peterson Potts, b.July 1850, is a brother to Alfred Holland and Jacob Green. He is the son of Isaac Green b. Jan 14, 1804 in Cedar Creek, Sussex Co., DE. and Sarah Elizabeth Potts. Sarah Elizabeth Potts is the daughter of James Potts b. May 5, 1825 and Charity Jane Beagel (there are different spellings for her last name) b. Jan 22, 1827. The children I show for Isaac and Millie are, Robert M., b. 1870; Thomas P., b. 1872; Mary F. , b. 1875; James M. or W.; b. 1878 and Dorothy, b. 1884. There may have been other children. Isaac J. Green served in the 147th PA Infantry with his brother, Alfred Holland Green (who enlisted under the surname of Potts) in the Civil War. Hope this helps you in your search.
