William WHITE came from Beaver co to what is now Vinton co Ohio. He is on 1812 tax list, 1814 helped organize Salem tp; and the 1820 census for Wilkes tp, Gallia co. This became Vinton co in 1850. His wife was a Myres. Ch: James bn 1809 in New Brighton (granddaughters; bible);Believe also Moses, Lemuel and Andrew, and possibly a daughter Susanna or Lucinda. John Calvin bn 1810 in Beaver co, PA died 1896 in Vinton co, Ohio, came to Vinton co in 1840, son of James Calvin and Elizabeth Grosscost. John married Abigail EAKEN. bn 1817 in Beaver co, PA.
