His grandfather settled there about the time of the Revolutionary War.In the late 1840's he went to Virginia,where in 1849 he wed Elizabeth Nutter. In 1875 in Ritchie Co. WV he was killed in a house raising accident. If anyone can shed some light on Alex or his parents it would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Walter
