I am looking for the parents of this couple- Thomas B. Moore b. abt 1810 PA Catherine Scott b. 10 Feb 1814 Beaver Co., PA they are, by 1839, in Burgettstown, Westmoreland, from the information on an obit, but cannot be found there in 1840. I do find a Thomas Moore in Hanover in 1840, aged 20-30 with a daughter under age 5-this fits well as his first child, Julia Ann, was b. the year before. there are two other females, one 15-20 and the other 20-30. Catherine would be 26. who the 15-20 year old might be...a servant? younger sister? no idea. having dug a bit in the 1820 census, I think I _might_ have found Thomas and Catherine's father's and family, but I can't prove it. can anyone tell me anything abt the families listed below; 1820 Hanover, Beaver, PA, all on 2 consecutive pages John Scott 2 0 0 1 1 0 1 0 1 0 0 0 2 0 0 Thomas Scott 2 0 0 0 1 0 2 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 Thomas Moore 0 1 1 2 0 1 0 1 0 0 1 0 1 0 0 this means that in the household of; John Scott 2 boys under the age of 10, 1 male 16 to 26 yrs old, 1 male 20-45 yrs old 1 girl under the age of 10, (Catherine?) 1 woman 16-26 yrs 2 people working in farming Thomas Scott 2 boys under the age of 10, 1 man 20-45 yrs, 2 girls under the age of 10, 1 female 16-26 yrs 1 person working in farming Thomas Moore 1 male 10-15 yrs, (Thomas B.?) 1 male 16-18 yrs, 2 males 16-26 yrs, 1 male 45 yrs or older, 1 female 10-16 yrs, 1 female 45 yrs or older 1 person working in farming thanks for any information on them.
