    3. Hello everyone... Would anyone happen to be researching the Barnes family who were living in Beaver County during the Civil War period? William Conner Barnes was born on May 18, 1841 to Levi & Elizabeth (Conner) Barnes and was a farmer in Beaver County at the time of his enlistment in 1861. I'm trying to gain information about Levi & Elizabeth. What I do know is that according to Bates' History of Erie County, PA, a Levi Barnes arrived in PA in 1821 from the interior of New York.
